The Balboa Park Conservancy provides expertise, advocacy and resources to envision, enhance and sustain Balboa Park for all visitors in partnership with the City of San Diego and in collaboration with other organizations in the Park and the community.

Outdoor Areas of Balboa Park Open

Balboa Park’s Central Mesa is open to visitors, as are most outdoor recreational areas in the park. Several restaurants with outdoor seating, including the iconic Prado Restaurant, are open as well. Please see our Virtual Visitors Center for details on what’s currently open or visit the Balboa Park Visitors Center, open daily, 10am–4pm.
 

In turbulent times, we must all play our part in flattening the curve of COVID-19 and still maintain our physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing. Balboa Park is here for you while you’re staying at home in accordance with our state and local mandates. Our Virtual Visitors Center provides you with resources and information.
